Moving Day !

Moving Day has finally come.  Things on the blog are a bit quiet, because we are in midst of moving at the moment.  Things are packed up, cleaned out, and we  all feel a bit in transit-limbo.  Soon when our Internet is set up again I will get more news posted !

More soon.

Blue Koi Studio Paintings Gallery

Welcome to Blue Koi Studio Blog

Hello and welcome to Blue Koi Studio Blog. I will be posting about my art, inspirations, and my artistic journey. I will also share some links and resources on the blog. Some of you have asked me to show some of my artwork in progress. I hope you enjoy the posts and I love hearing your thoughts too !

Blue Koi Studio is now based in Angaston, a small town in the gorgeous Barossa Valley wine country of South Australia. See more about our hometown at Angaston's Facebook page.

I have recently started painting again, so check back or subscribe to see more art related posts.

May 11th, 2012: Renovation and interiors related posts will move soon to a new blog: place & time design. I will post more links to it soon and new renovation posts will move there from today. Soon it will also have Befores and Afters gallery too.

More soon !

Cheers,
Kim

About Me

Kim Valois Mathieson
Barossa Valley, South Australia, Australia
I am a designer and artist, security consultant, and small business owner. I grew up in California, living in many parts of the Golden State. Northern, Southern, and Central Coast. I spent 15 years in public service plus several more as a contractor, for a total of 20 years in Washington DC. In 2001 I moved to Sydney with a work opportunity and called Australia home ever since. In 2010,my husband and I moved from the big city (Sydney) to the Barossa Valley wine country in South Australia where we are now putting on final stages of renovating a 113 year old stone house that is now our home. We launched our Brocante in the Barossa design studio in 2013.
